Flesh Tearers Sarg Re-Visited

So I couldn't stand the green cloak so i went back and redid it in Dheneb Stone.







I also removed the dark angels icon as 'suggested' in a comment that I sadly felt neccessary to remove due to rudeness, I welcome your critique but please keep it polite.

Flesh Tearers Tactical Squad

Completed apart from perhaps the sarg's cloak, im not sold on the green, im thinking perhaps yellow like the top knot guy, purple or a muted brown, what do you think?




I decided to have a play with different designs for shoulder pads i could then use some of on my blood angels, they also broke up the plain black shoulder pads that even with highlights looked pretty dull. Any thoughts suggestions welcome!

So this one has taken me awhile! Still here it is in completion with dust n' rust weathering and a little chap with a greenstuff helmet.

Flesh Tearers drop pod

Drop pod for the flesh tearers squad. Im tempted to paint up a Rhino/ landraider for these guys, and enormous quarter buzz saw would look cool... then again i might pass and just use one of the standard blood angel schemed ones i plan to do if dont want to pod them.

Flesh Tearers Combat Squad

First Five men of my Flesh Tearers Tactical squad done, the other five are part way through painting. Theyl have a drop pod painted up for them as well as Seth. Ive not done any right shoulder pad marking yet as ive not thought of what to put.. perhaps just blood drops and wings? Id thought maybe a few with a white buzz saw coming across the corner of their pad? Any thoughts?

Theyve come out slightly blue, ill try again if theres better light tomorrow/at the weekend.
